The Fish

Naturally, the fish itself is the most important variable in our operations. Therefore, we monitor the tilapia's health and environment from egg to harvest.

  • Tilapia eggs are carefully monitored to ensure a greater hatching yield.
  • They later become fry, which are very small fish, and they have yolk-sacs to provide nutrients.
  • After approximately a month, they are sent to the nursery.
  • Once they become 2-inch fingerlings in 2 to 3 months, they go to grow-out ponds.
  • At around 9 months old, they are ready to be harvested.
  • After harvesting, they are processed and shipped to your local grocer within 48 hours.
