Sautéed Tilapia with Garlic Prosciutto Butter Sauce
Ingredients
4 fresh tilapia fillets
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 tbsp. prosciutto, minced
1 tbsp. parsley, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp. scallions, minced
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. canola oil
salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Combine butter, parsley, garlic, scallions, prosciutto, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Stir until evenly mixed and then set aside.
Season the tilapia fillets with salt and pepper.
Heat canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and bring to a simmer.
Add the fillets and cook about 5 minutes until the underside is golden brown.
Flip the fillets over and spread the butter sauce evenly over each fillet.
Sauté about 2 minutes longer or until the fish is flaky and the sauce has melted onto the fish.
